Event Details

The important bits:

Date: Saturday February 2nd, 2013

Time: 10.00am till late late late! Official event Powhiri will happen at 11.30am Sharp!


Venue: Library Square Public House!


Booze and Food Specials:



· Wicked drink specials to keep you hydrated throughout the day. Including Steinlager Pure, NZ Wine and 42 Below Vodka!



· Great Kiwi food with a PIG ON THE SPIT, good old fashioned sausage sizzle, meat pies, wedges with sour cream, and Kiwi Burgers all on the Menu!



· Lollies...Pineapple Lumps, Fruit Bursts, Milkshakes, if its a kiwi treat we got it!



· Classic Meat pack raffle (cheers to The Mad Butcher!)


Entertainment: Kiwi tunes playing all day thanks to our DJ's, kiwi flicks, snips and.....maybe a Haka too!

Not to mention there will be TONS of prize give aways all day to keep you entertained, thanks to our generous sponsors!

TWO MORE SLEEPS!

That's right!  Just two more sleeps until the big day so this will be the last post before the event!

Here are a few last minute details to get you through Friday and amped for Saturday!

The Timeline:
10am - Doors open and tee sales begin!
11.30am - Official event welcome, Powhiri and NZ Consulate to say a few word
The Kiwi Menu kicks in!
12.00pm - DJ starts throwing down the beats!
Random games and prizes throughout the day
2.30pm Possible acoustic sing along time!
4.00pm  - Raffle prizes are drawn We have $4K worth of prizes and you have to be there to win!
5.00pm - Get your shirts off lads its Haka time!
6.00pm - Event officially ends (but not the party!)

Things to remember:
  • Party Pants!
  • $10 to get in the door
  • $ for some raffle tickets
  • Banter
  • Friends, Whanau and entourage
Huge thanks go's out to the sponsors and people that have made this event possible.  Lets not forget what this day is and means and what the main goals of this event are...
To bring together ex pat Kiwis and friends to celebrate our national day and what it means to be Kiwi.  As well as raise as much money as we can for our Kiwis for Kiwi and our little national bird to ensure its long term survival!
